About the team
Science Olympiad is a national STEM competition — teams go head-to-head across biology, chemistry, earth science, engineering, and lab inquiry. We help every member find their event and push their limits.

No experience required — just curiosity and commitment. We recruit at the start of each school year and welcome new members at weekly meetings.
Questions, answered
Not at all. Many of our strongest competitors started knowing nothing about their event. Captains and coaches help you learn from the ground up.
It scales with you — a weekly meeting plus independent study or build time with your partner. More as a tournament approaches, but you control the pace.
Build events (Boomilever, Helicopter) mean designing and constructing a device. Study events (Astronomy, Forensics) are knowledge- and lab-based. Most members do a mix.
Typically 3–4 events per competitor, each with 1–2 partners. We help you balance your schedule so events don't conflict at tournaments.
